Description & Requirements

We are seeking a senior media leader to define the eCommerce media strategy for Large Format & Regional Grocery retailers and for the Kids- Snacks- and Beverages (KSB) business unit.  The role is expected to consistently and successfully deliver the execution of complex programs- including direct partnerships- 360 programmatic media buying- paid social and paid search.  

This position requires a candidate that is a self-starter- clear communicator- innovator- and driver of results.  The candidate is a hustler- leader and is an expert on several retailer media groups’ capabilities.  This position is brand new within a high growth org so the individual needs to be flexible- agile- and comfortable with ambiguity.  This individual will hold a diverse role in both the planning and execution of media across retailers and brands and will oversee 1 direct report.   The individual will provide activation results- analysis- and recommended action plans to senior leaders across Kraft Heinz.  If you are ready to roll up your sleeves in this dynamic role- team- and space- we want to hear from you!


  • Activate holistic advertising campaigns and marketing strategies that include retailer onsite and offsite traffic drivers (including targeted display ads- search- paid social- CRM- influencers- and acquisition emails) to deliver upon key KPIs

  • Understand retailer media capabilities across Quotient- Citrus- Criteo- Target- Amazon- Walmart- Instacart and more

  • Lead relationship with our media and agency partners- including overseeing multiple retailers’ and brands’ media budgets

  • Partner with eCommerce sales- stores teams and brand teams to drive holistic omnichannel and digital strategies

  • Deliver both topline sales- market share- and media efficiency targets (CPC and incremental sales) and manage investment strategy

  • Develop detailed media briefs for various initiatives to launch programs that comply with brand guidelines- align with business objectives- and exceed defined performance KPIs

  • Synthesize campaign learnings and communicate data-driven recommendations

  • Own monthly meeting with senior KSB brand teams to communicate top company priorities and align on media campaigns strategies

  • Collaborate with the Consumer Insights and Category Management teams to identify growth areas and white space opportunities

  • Develop test and learn innovation plans to continuously drive the business forward

  • Continuously push the envelope- develop forward thinking strategies- and measurement roadmaps as media landscape evolves

  • Oversee 1 direct reports’ day-to-day work and development


  • Exceptional communication skills- with experience managing multiple senior level stakeholders’ expectations

  • Strong presentation skills to internal and external partners

  • Prior management experience

  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills

  • Strong personal motivation in fast paced- high pressure environment with a bias for action

  • Ability to effectively work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple functions

  • Prior or relevant experience in Retail (eCommerce a plus) and/or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) required Media buying experience- DSP- DMP and ad serving/tracking (DCM) understanding required

  • Minimum 6 years of media experience- 7 years preferred

  • Prior media agency experience preferred
