Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for driving the Operator Pricing execution process for the assigned customer accounts. The Senior Financial Analyst leverages a data driven analytical approach to build and optimize pricing strategies that deliver Net Sales and Gross Margin growth for Kraft Heinz.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the pricing execution for the Field sales team- covering all contracted business in the Field (from small accounts to regional chains).
  • Understand key metrics and market intelligence to derive insights and identify opportunities for trade savings
  • Partner cross functionally with Sales to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and ROI of trade investments
  • Present and prepare pricing analysis to leadership and cross functional teams
  • Pricing execution involves delivering data driven insights to help the sales team set price correctly with customers.
  • Manage the pricing analytics database and contract database (Salesforce) to execute pricing for contracts
  • Partner with commercial (Sales- Marketing) and Trade Operations team to maintain accuracy of internal trade systems (Blacksmith TPM- CPQ)
  • Support rituals and routines and liaise among the commercial teams to ensure effective communication- prioritization and execution
  • Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required – accounting- finance- or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in corporate finance ideally within a large corporation (need to be able to analyze a P&L / financial figures)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Must have strong communication skills and ability to deal with several counterparts in the sales organization
  • Demonstrates the ability to think outside of the box
  • Self-motivated problem-solving ability
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Good sense of humor
