Description & Requirements

The Target & Costco Sales Finance Senior Manager is responsible for leading all PPM activities and routines across the Target sales team directly supporting the CVP- CBL’s- and CCM’s.  The Senior Manager leverages a data driven analytical approach to build and optimize a P&L that deliver Net Sales and Gross Margin growth for Kraft Heinz. Through collaboration with the sales customer VP- the Senior Manager acts as the right hand driving execution of the recommended strategies and Target and Costco sales plan. The Senior Manager also maintains financial controls to ensure trade spending is accurately forecasted- consistent with strategy guidelines- and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Own all aspects of the Customer P&L and be able to articulate any changes in revenue or trade to Director of Finance and sales area VP
  • Serve as the key business partner for the Target Field Sales Team on all Finance & Accounting related questions
  • Lead annual sales planning and forecast processes by delivering data driven insights to help teams optimize plans and deliver on both NSV & GM objectives.
  • Provide leadership on pricing and promotional strategies and partner with Sales to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and ROI of trade investments
  • Leverage the post promotional event database to proactively recommend trade optimization opportunities to the CVP
  • Ensure financial controls by leading monthly trade reconciliation and budget management process
  • Lead weekly & monthly rituals & routines and liaise among the CVP- Business Units and Headquarter Revenue Management to ensure effective communication- prioritization and execution
  • Analyzes deductions and write-off data- bringing attention to drivers of trends and partnering with CVPs and Genpact on customer facing solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business- Finance/Accounting- or Economics
  • 6-8 years of experience with proven track record of delivering results in sales- finance- analytics- or shopper insights
  • Sales and/or trade promotion experience strongly preferred
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to quickly learn analytical modeling tools and techniques
  • Disciplined approach toward execution- attention to detail- and ability to navigate within large and complex data environments
  • Ability to effectively summarize complex information upwards and influence sales leadership to drive appropriate action
  • Strong oral and written communication skills- including reporting and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain flexibility in an ever-changing environment
