About the role
 

Reporting into the category’s Head of Marketing- this role is within our Frozen and Chilled brand marketing team- based in Newmarket- New Zealand. Responsible for driving profitable growth of the category through the development and execution of the category’s marketing strategy and plans.
 

  • Identify and leverage consumer insights for growth
  • Develop and implement approved advertising- publicity and consumer promotions plans within the context of brand objectives
  • Monitor brand performance through research tools and reporting
  • Provide recommendations in relation to the development of the category
  • Develop and implement product and packaging updates
  • Manage monthly A&P spend
  • Manage the NPD process for the category including the preparation of business plans- and post launch audits
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety- Environmental- Health and Safety- and Ethical and Human Resources policies- programs and goals.

About you

  • Bachelor degree in business (or related)
  • Minimum 5 years in marketing (or marketing related) experience
  • Sales experience an advantage
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage tight timelines
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to make recommendations
  • Ability to think strategically and translate this thinking into measurable actions
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Brand management experience in within CPG or similar industry
  • Understanding of marketing processes and systems
  • Strong A&P cost management and forecasting/budgeting experience
