Description & Requirements

This role will be the team's data expert. This role will need to take large data sets and break down the information to provide actionable insights to the team. Working across the greater team with leadership- CBLs- and CSAs to help the team better understand the data and how we can leverage it in our work and bring back to the customer to make actionable improvements. This role will report into the business and will need the ability to take high level direction back to produce results.

  • Conduct reporting to break down and provide analysis back to the business. This will consist of weekly sales and consumption reports- distribution reports- innovation and daily sales reports.
  • Provide actionable strategic recommendations back to the business to improve. Working with the strong knowledge of SQL will be crucial in understanding these mass data sets.
  • Finding patterns in data sets to communicate the results they find in a way that the business can understand.
  • Interpret the business needs and be comfortable as a one-person show to go back and produce data that can help provide insight.
  • Operating with ambiguity.



  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years of experience working in Business Intelligence or Data analytics
  • Skilled at problem solving and idea leadership
  •  Strong drive for results
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Experience in manipulating or analyzing syndicated data
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables- look-up formulas) and PowerPoint
  • Superior interpersonal skills (written- verbal- presentation);
  • Experience in partnering with business owners to understand requirements- develop project timelines and deliver data sets or analysis on time
  • Intermediate understanding of the retail environment
  • Experience in designing and delivering large cross functional custom reporting systems by managing technical teams


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems- Computer Science- Business or Quantitative discipline
  • Proven experience in BI/DW as a change leader providing strategic research- recommendations- and implementations
  • Functional knowledge of Sales
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines- multi-task- and prioritize workload
  • Experience with creating interactive visualizations in Tableau
  • Experience using Nielsen/IRI
  • 2-4 years relational database and SQL skills in SQL Server or other database platform and creating automated processes for data pulls and updates
