Description & Requirements

Role Overview

In this role- you will partner with small format restaurants and convenience store operators in ‘Downtown Toronto’ to sell and distribute Kraft Heinz products directly to store-level. In addition- you will support customers with merchandising requirements- and drive increased Kraft Heinz brand awareness through POS placements.

The Sales Partner position within the sales organization provides the candidate with an opportunity to develop solid business skills as a foundation for further career development within the Kraft Heinz company- which could include roles on the Retail Field-Sales Team- Food-Service Field Team- Customer Business Teams- and Marketing business units. This position will develop negotiation skills- verbal & written presentation skills- analytical skills- and will allow the individual to apply concepts and tools that will develop core competencies such as ‘Business Savvy’ and the ability to simplify the complex. This role is entrepreneurial in spirit and as a ‘Sales Partner’ offers an exciting opportunity to grow KHC sales in the downtown Toronto territory.

This role is a one-year contract to begin with.


  • #1 Priority: Sell- sell- sell!! No fear of failure- we’re looking for a hungry individual driven to sell daily.

  • Responsible for acquisition of customer contacts- distribution of product to accounts- and reporting via internal systems. 

  • Utilize fact-based selling tools and market information to secure new product distribution- presenting cross-merchandising ideas and identifying other opportunities for new sales growth.

  • Leveraging your knowledge of Kraft-Heinz and the customer's key financial measures- you will be fully accountable for delivering sales and profit objectives in your assigned territory.

  • Working with management you will develop and execute annual business plans including customer assessments and retail opportunities.


  • Completed bachelor’s degree.

  • Passion for sales; hunter mentality.

  • Previous selling- merchandising or customer service experience is preferred- but candidates with a passion for selling and driving business results who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.

  • Valid Driver's License including a favorable driving record (a Driver's Abstract will be requested as part of the recruitment process).

  • Must have personal vehicle- including current vehicle liability insurance.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal one on one with customers effectively.

  • Strong drive for results and customer focus.

  • Intermediate Computer Skills (Excel- Word- Outlook).

  • Self-Driven. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Living in territory preferred (Toronto- ON).
