About the role

This role is a pivotal interface for converting demand signals into manufacturing plans- via the development and execution of effective production plans and production schedules- while ensuring that raw material plans are set and executed to meet the agreed demand requirements within the time fences and policies defined by the organisation.


  • Has intimate knowledge of Manufacturing as it relates to production planning and keeps informed of how technology can help improve results and processes
  • Gets the results required
  • Constantly questions existing systems and develops and upgrades to improve results
  • Builds cross-functional team that helps- supports and learns from each other
  • Ensures direct reports have the knowledge and skills needed to effectively do their jobs through training and development- skills analysis and setting and achieving goals
  • Effectively measures and monitors work- results and other metrics to be able to report to the business and to aid in the improvement of future results
  • Most decisions and judgment calls- given the benefit of hindsight- are correct
  • Sets appropriate priorities for team- maintaining the balance between getting the results and working on the ability to get better results in the future
  • Is able to solve most problems- especially in BPCS
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety- Environmental- Health and Safety- and Ethical and Human Resources policies- programs and goals.
  • Uphold the Kraft Heinz values and to work in a way that contributes to the company’s vision

About you

  • Understanding of the best practice in scheduling- BOM purchasing and relationships to demand and the wider supply chain
  • Experience in leading and developing individuals to achieve team outcomes
  • Experience in developing detailed process maps and documenting processes and procedures
  • Experience in the planning team role for beverage scheduler- planning manager & raw material planner
  • Experienced co-pack planner for planet sales (Perth)
  • Degree level qualification in business- logistics or supply chain management
  • An industry or tertiary qualification such as APICS CPIM
  • Experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment to understand the dynamic nature of manufacturing and understand the constraints and pressures on manufacturing
  • 3-5 years experience using ERP systems to ensure understanding of MRP theory and practice
