About the role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our ANZ Marketing team to develop- drive and deliver strategic category initiatives. Reporting into the ANZ Marketing PMO Lead- you’ll have ownership over implementing New Product Development (NPD) projects including both disruptive innovations as well as core line extensions from Concept Design to Commercialisation & Launch.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects within target timeframes
  • Build and maintain detailed plans & timelines
  • Identify potential risks and propose contingency plans
  • Run project meetings and regular team check-ins
  • Tracking and reporting on progress at regular intervals
  • Manage owners of deliverables to ensure activity completion
  • Present on project status to senior leaders and broader project team
  • Develop stage & gate submissions and project recommendations
  • Support Brand team project pipeline development

About you

  • Bachelors degree in business- marketing or related discipline
  • Robust project management skills and understanding of Marketing Projects- Innovation and New Product Development (NPD)
  • Strong time management skills- reliable and adept at managing conflicting priorities
  • Experience in NPD Stage Gate- project management methods- tool and processes
  • Understanding of MS Project- Rapid & Agile systems preferred
  • Passionate about marketing- FMCG or product development industries
  • Ability to build consensus through strategic vision and outstanding verbal- written- and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to present and discuss information in a manner that persuades- educates- and enhances understanding at all levels
  • Can balance tactical day-to-day activities with a side of bigger picture strategic thinking
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills- combined with strategic business focus and vision
  • Strong collaborative management style- with an execution and result-oriented focus
