Job Highlights:

The Digital Analytics team’s mission is to provide strategic insights to enable Kraft Heinz eCommerce in driving outsized growth through innovation- experimentation and disruption- delivering strong results and a best in class consumer experience. The team’s analytical responsibilities extend across a wide scope including: Sales & Market Share- Assortment & Availability- Content and Placement- Pricing and Promotion- Placement- and Performance Management- as well as several strategic projects to ensure performance excellence on pace with eCommmerce evolution. The team works very closely with Sales- Finance- Content- Media- Category Management groups- within the US and internationally.

The eCommerce Analytics Technology Lead will lead the technical team responsible for data architecture- governance- and tech stack used for monthly automated reporting of key performance measurements for the eCommerce organization. This includes consumption- P&L- market share- digital shelf- diagnostics among others. This role will also be responsible for critical improvement projects which will be key in driving the Digital Analytics strategy.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Be a thought leader in eCommerce analytics innovation- ensuring analytics remains a competitive advantage to KHC eCommerce- keeping up with the ever-changing eCommerce industry. This includes leading teams through the design and development of robust automated systems to enable a fast-moving- data-driven organization.

  • Be a thought leader in performance analytics and diagnostics- ensuring provided data is an accurate representation of our business performance- and is adopted by the teams as required to drive growth.

  • Lead eCommerce Analytics Technology reporting team- composed of data architects- engineers and scientists in the set-up- maintenance and monthly run of automated reporting scripts. Govern all applicable data sources and associated data in the eCommerce data lake.

  • Work closely with Finance and Sales teams to ensure monthly data is reported on time and any updates required are addressed promptly to meet required reporting timelines.

  • Lead data and tech-stack governance and ensure data accuracy and automation are kept at the highest levels at all times.

  • Lead and collaborate with programmers- engineers- and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements- recommended system modifications and development policies for data governance.

  • Lead the creation of appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Data Science.
  • Masters in computer science or Data Science preferred.
  • Master in Business Administration also preferred.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in digital analytics.
  • 5+ years experience with managing technical teams- both internal and 3rd party.
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in working with cloud computing services including Azure- Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Extensive experience in scripting and usage of statistical tools- including SQL- R- Python and Alteryx. Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Leadership skills to complete decision-making and problem-solving tasks. Ability to think strategically about the information that will help stakeholders make data-driven business decisions and to communicate the value of this information effectively.
  • Preparing repots for leadership that effectively communicate trends- patterns- and predictions using relevant data.
  • Consumer packaged goods or eCommerce experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and team skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytics skills.
  • Multi-tasker who can manage projects across multiple categories simultaneously.
  • Naturally inquisitive- highly driven- and very self-sufficient.
