Position Summary

The Lead- Capabilities - eCommerce is responsible for partnering with the Strategy lead to develop and build out new eCommerce capabilities identified in the strategy planning process. This role will need to have a strong understanding of how to both collaborate and influence the eCommerce team and broader KHC as they develop and roll-out new processes. The Lead- Capabilities – eCommerce will need to be able to perform process analysis- value stream mapping- and establish return on investment/ business impact for new capabilities. This role will lead engaging key functions and thought leaders to develop capability- structure the work plan with action plan & timelines- and will need to embrace agile ways of working and leading across functional team(s) to implement capabilities. This includes but is not limited to working cross functionally with our operations- supply chain- sales- and media teams. This position will need to lay out clear performance score-carding against capability development progress- proactively escalate barriers or risk to milestone completion- and employ agility in problem solving to ensure key capabilities are developed on-time in support of the short and long-term business goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Align on prioritized capability development for both short & long term business objectives
  • Translate strategies into plans that can be effectively executed
  • Analyze and build value stream maps for processes impacted by capabilities to be developed
  • Project manage the development of the new capabilities being developed
  • Simplify complex data to support process analysis
  • Cleary communicate capability - value- timeline- resource requirements- risk- etc.
  • Collaborating with eCommerce and broader organizational functions
  • Influence within eCommerce and broader organizational functions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required- engineering degree preferred;
  • MBA not required- but highly preferred.
  • A minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management & strategy development- preferably within CPG working across a portfolio of products.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and preferred proficiency in Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • eCommerce experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to show strong judgement and prioritization skills.
  • Bottoms-up building mentality with a passion for new business innovation.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in a sprint/ agile work.
  • Proven communication effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to distill insights and drive impact into an organization – bringing the consumer to forefront
  • High level of tolerance for working in ambiguity- managing change and driving change management.
