In Store Excellence Manager

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced In Store Excellence Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. This role lies within the Italian Business Unit. You’ll be working in a high performing team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the Activation & Trade Services Manager. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. You’ll be constantly looking for improvement activities within the Italian market.


In brief- you will be responsible for;

Lead the process- develop and support the In Store Excellence execution

  • Lead the Trade Service Team in defining local shopper insight- formulating in-store activation plans and executing sell-out activities in the close collaboration with the Marketing Team and the Sales Teams
  • Work collaboratively with our Insight Manager- Brand Managers- Trade Marketing and Sales teams to develop a shopper marketing strategy for the business based on shopper insights and aligned to each category masterplan
  • Owns in-store excellence execution to drive brand preference- increase conversion and basket size
  • Be the expert in understanding the best shopper marketing visuals based on shoppers- customers- and brands
  • Be the expert in point-of-sales material development
  • Develop strategic materials that will meet brand objectives in trade
  • Develop designed point of sale materials for use in store
  • Define and formulate observations and recommendations for new materials through analysis of sales data and through monitoring the success of the trade marketing activities
  • Lead the Trade Service function to deliver disruptive- strategic- smart and creative marketing solutions along the path to purchase
  • Work closely with the Trade Service offices in Continental Europe for the best practice sharing
     

Negotiation and Budgeting responsibilities

  • Is responsible for the management of the Trade Service budget
  • Negotiate contracts/quotations with the suppliers and drive the annual agreements
  • Problem-solve any budgetary issues (e.g.- over-budget- under-budget- how to use- etc.) with shopper marketers and raise to sales finance when appropriate


Lead the Team for success

  • Build and maintain strong culture within team
  • Set and communicate clear objectives for the team and individual team members
  • Provide the foundation for team effectiveness by creating and maintaining team processes
  • Apply training and coaching effectively for individual and team development
  • Complete performance evaluations for direct reports

Qualifications

Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

  • Master’s degree
  • At least three years of working experience in a multinational company strongly oriented to the consumer focus and with a strong sell out approach. Previous experience in sales and Trade Marketing will be a plus.
  • Analytical skills- negotiation ability- budgeting and forecasting skills- strong knowledge about the retail channel- the consumer behavior and the path to purchase. Knowledge about the standard in store materials. Ability to find innovative solutions aligned to the company strategy and to the consume behavior and needs.     
  • Italian and English (fluent)
