Description & Requirements

This position provides HR services to all functions in the plant by serving as a resource/expert to plant management and employees. Effective leadership- strong communication and proven skills such as initiative- problem solving- interpersonal skills and follow up will enable incumbent to support HR and business initiatives.

Primary Role and Responsibilities

  • Process- verify- and maintain personnel related documentation- including staffing- recruitment- training- grievances- performance evaluations- classifications- and employee leaves of absence.
  • Maintain HRIS by reviewing reports and collecting and maintaining employee data
  • Explain company personnel policies- benefits- and procedures to employees or job applicants.
  • Prepare and set up for onboarding new employees.
  • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.
  • Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
  • Inform job applicants of their employment status.   
  • Select applicants meeting specified job requirements and refer them to hiring personnel.
  • Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible workers of position availability
  • Track hourly employee attendance and notify supervisors when attendance surpasses acceptable thresholds.
  • Ownership of various employee involvement programs- community and volunteer activities and coordinates employee celebrations and events.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and the adherence to Kraft Heinz policies.
  • Adhere to all site rules- and to adhere to all ways of working- and processes and procedures within that role
  • Position requires compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Responsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMPs and other daily/job specific duties to support QRMP
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred with up to 4 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment preferred

  • Must have demonstrated experience in influencing others
  • Must adhere to all Kraft Heinz policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and follow internal Kraft Heinz procedures
