Description & Requirements

  • Lead the Canadian IT team.  Team size ~5 direct and ~20 indirect team members
    • Support development and coaching for the direct team members- following KHC methodology
  • Own the Canadian IT operating budget (ZBB)- delivering against targets and other objectives.  Annual Budget ~$5MM USD
    • Ensuring services are delivered per contract and meeting business needs
    • Ensuring costs are managed effectively- including regular reviews for cost optimization
  • Own the Canadian Project budget (Capex)- ensuring on time- on quality- on cost delivery of the project portfolio.  Annual budget ~$5MM USD
    • Accountable for delivery of all projects in the zone
    • Delivers some projects directly- leveraging the Canada IT team
    • Partner with internal IT teams on delivery and issue resolution
    • Manage third party providers on delivery and issue resolution
  • Play a senior role in the upcoming digital transformation of the Canadian Zone
    • Providing thought leadership in digital- including identifying the art of the possible and challenging the status quo
    • Developing and sourcing digital talent
    • Building out IT owned chapters and leaders
  • Own stakeholder management (rituals and routines) with Canadian business leadership
    • Interface with Zone President (EVP level) and direct staff to provide the monthly performance review and other updates as required
    • Partner with Zone leadership to address business opportunities and issues as they arise
  • Ensure the factories and offices in Canada have the right hardware and network.
  • Manage the vendors and contracts for Canada applications and Hardware.
  • Be the bridge between the Canada business and the IT tower leaders. To facilitate the communication and actions.
  • Increase the user’s satisfaction by helping to solve day-to day issues and reviewing RCA to guarantee the same problem will not repeat
  • Be the primarily contact to the local NA CIOs. Facilitating the communications with them and building the artefacts to the Monthly Performance Review meetings.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • At least 15 years’ experience managing the IT / Business relationship at senior levels
  • At least 10 years’ experience in leadership positions in IT
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Global Application implementation
  • At least 7 years’ experience managing enterprise applications- IT infrastructure and vendors Experience with digital transformation and product-based operations
  • Experience on Enterprise Applications: e.g SAP- Workday- Office 365
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall solution delivery
  • Good background on managing budget and ZBB methodology
  • Experience in the Food Industry preferred
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Good vendor management experience
  • Effective delegation skills
  • Sound decision-making skills under pressure
  • Highly effective planning and prioritization skills
  • Good project management Skills
