Description & Requirements

1.Purpose of the role

The role is responsible to plan- challenge- measure- follow up and forecast the Procurement Financial PPV Performance regarding the short-term horizon. Also- the role is responsible for consolidating Global Ops Cost view.

2.Main accountabilities

  • To coordinate the financial monthly business cycle supporting the CPO
    • Own and coordinate monthly financial performance review challenging Global and Zones on gaps and explanations.
    • Build and maintain global Inflation models- reporting actual KHC inflation vs benchmarks
    • Evaluate the commodity performance and its impact in total results
    • Manage forecast and anticipate risk and opportunities
    • Work with the zones/global category directors to gain a thorough understanding of business performance versus budget and LE
    • To follow-up on action log of previous MPRs meetings
    • Track and monitor PI initiatives as parts of Procurement Champions Program
    • Track and monitor VE initiatives as parts of Procurement Champions Program
    • Support zones during projects risk assessment

  • To consolidate the Total Ops cost view supporting

  • To support on the execution of financial transformational projects within Proc Finance (Global and Zones)- including:
    • Financial Visibility
    • BI Solutions / New systems
    • Automation
    • Analytics
    • Standardization
    • GBS

  • To act as business partner of Global and Zones Category Directors- leveraging on knowledge- analytical thinking and value-add mindset.
  • To run Price Analytics tool as support of Genesis Project by identifying misbehavior around price phasing and to implement additional controls to avoid such conduct 
  • To scale up the use of analytical tools to increase visibility- generating insights around the financial performance
  • To lead and measure Procurement financial synergies across Zones with the right visibility
  • To evaluate the main short-term projects and their financial impact
  • To support Global and Zones during DTV initiative
  • To own the monthly presentation to CEO regarding the financial review

6.Qualification and Technical Competencies required

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business- Engineer- Accounting or related field required
    • Master degree preferred
    • MBA and CPA are a plus

  • Experience
    • 10y+ of business experience
    • Solid financial background (in FMCG is plus)
    • Experience of working in and with multi-country scenarios
    • Project management knowledge
    • Process Standardization projects is a plus
    • Working through Shared Services groups
