Global Digital and Automation Manufacturing Leader

About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Digital and Automation Manufacturing Lead to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The function lies within Global Manufacturing team in the Global Center of Excellence. You’ll be working in a high performing team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. You’re constantly looking for improvement activities within Global Operations to help develop- promote and implement different supply chain strategies to achieve effective business processes.

In brief- you will be responsible for:

  • How to Deploy Manufacturing Process Management for Digital Manufacturing
  • Transform digital strategies involve adopting Industries 4.0 
  • Optimize and modernize IT practices and portfolios. Use this research to learn the best practices- case studies and roadmaps to leverage and scale the technology portfolio
  • Organize the Data Lake and provide the capabilities to use the outputs
  • Approaches to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) to our manufacturing organization with relatable use cases to stimulate thinking of ideas where AI can influence efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Implement Machine Learnings Tools
  • Coordinate the Automation Roadmap:
    • Assess the operational landscape
    • Identify the right parameters
    • Evaluate the business process
    • Recommend level of automation
    • Land at the winning automation formula


Hard Skills
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

  • Master’s degree in automation engineering mandatory
  • MBA
  • Work Experience: Had coordinated a Digital and Automation Road Map
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced level in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced level in PLCs knowledge
  • Programming skills (JavaScript- Python- Java- C#- PHP)
  • Coding and Scripting Expertise
  • Strong knowledge in Tableau or Power BI
  • Configuration Management (CM) Software Experience.
  • Experience to support executives in making complex decisions: ability to simplify- prioritize- structure and articulate the many decision criteria to enable the decision for the Company
  • Strong analytical skills to model manufacturing and logistics networks and operations. Ability to define the most effective way to model- understand which assumptions matter
  • Project management skills: knowledge and experience with best practices in project management- ability to interact with operations and commercial functions to understand priorities- get assumptions and buy-in
