Description & Requirements

About the role:

This is a role in the ANJ IT organization to provide operational day-to-day support to and run the operations of Main Computer Processes (AS400- Core DataCentre- Support Centre- Core DR- Core Interfaces to ERP- Core Security and Compliance)- in collaboration with internal Global  IT and third party vendors.

This role will provide critical support and act as a 2IC to the ANJ Technology Lead - IT.


• Provide day-to-day operational service and support for defined components of Main Computer Processes.
• Support third party vendors in the installation- configuration- delivery- maintenance and monitoring of Main Computer Processes components and services- in accordance with defined roadmaps- strategies- policies and standards
• Deliver Main Computer Processes service requests and requirements through collaboration with vendors
where applicable
• Take the lead in Core SoX and Security compliance issues and audits
• Perform technical role in the Core Systems space for Problem and Change Management functions
• Provide Support of DR services for Core Systems.
• Provide Support of the Outsourced Centralised Support Centre
• Perform corrective procedures for prevention of loss or system recovery of Main Computer Processes services and infrastructure
• Collaborate with vendors for resolution of issues / incidents.

• Provide assistance to ANJ Technology Lead - IT in Managing Department resources on an ‘as required’ basis.

About you:

• Extensive experience (5+ years' hands on exposure) in maintaining and supporting AS400 operations services and seeking opportunities to improve operations

• Knowledge of IT services across multiple tiers and experience with working with colleagues and other strategic providers to provide a seamless IT service across the following disciplines:
             - Data Centre
             - Helpdesk
             - Security & Compliance

• ITIL foundation level certification
• Experience with Change and Problem Management

• Excellent communication and customer facing skills
• Technical credibility and independent judgment and decision-making experience on Main Computer
Processes matters
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills- able to determine the impact of issues quickly
