POSITION:                   Director- Strategic Pricing

DUTIES:                       The primary goal of the US Head of Pricing is to lead pricing strategy and execution for the US Retail and Foodservice businesses within Kraft Heinz. Specific duties include: develop pricing plan for the next 3-years in partnership with Business Units and estimate impact of actions to financial performance- accounting for consumer price sensitivity- interactions between different products- competitive reaction and distribution implications (20%); oversee models for calculating pricing elasticity and cross-elasticity coefficients for all of US portfolio through development of statistical regression models (10%); define guidelines and guardrails by customer determining minimum and suggested retail prices- margin requirements and price protection policy (15%); assess execution compliance to guidelines and track violations ensuring appropriate administrative actions (15%); coordinate pricing execution process ensuring adherence to timelines- data integrity and consistency in customer communications (10%); monitor impact of price changes through evaluation of shelf reflection and market conduct- tracking contribution to sales and profit in close communication with executive leadership (15%); coordinate price pack architecture initiative by leveraging market and conjoint analyses (10%); and define policy for commodity related pricing in partnership with procurement and category teams (5%).

REQUIREMENTS:           Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics- Statistics- Engineering or a directly related quantitative field and Five (5) years of experience in a Revenue Management- Financial Planning & Analysis- or Management Consulting position- or in a directly related role. Previous employment experience must have included: At least two (2) years of experience with Revenue Management/commodity related pricing analytics (dairy- meats or coffee) and financial hedging/modelling instruments; At least two (2) years of experience with coordinating data science and data management initiatives; Planning- communicating- and executing pricing actions across large teams for major US grocery retailers (Walmart- Kroger- Target or Publix); Developing trade spend/promotions and optimizing through Guidelines & Guardrails to drive net price realization; Using SAP systems- Nielsen/IRI and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA); Applying elasticities- cross-elasticities- and pricing models; and Conducting and reading multi-variate regressions- statistical significance tests- analyses of variance- and multicollinearity tests.
