Description & Requirements

Position Summary

The Sr. Manager- Emerging Channels (eCommerce & Digital) – Away from Home (“AFH”)

  • Responsible for leading all aspects of the AFH eCommerce & Digital business- including our relationship with large partners like Amazon
  • Requires a proven leader with extensive strategic and marketing knowledge (E-commerce and digital marketing- B2B & B2C)- and a transformative mindset
  • This role is for an individual who is a self-starter- excited by creative problem solving- testing & learning from new pilot programs
  • This role reports to the Director of Channel Marketing & Emerging Channels

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the AFH eCommerce & Digital Marketing team of four
  • Define & lead all aspects of the AFH eCommerce & Digital business lines (including strategy- planning- developing and executing content plans- overseeing promotions- monitoring performance analyticsand more)
  • Combine sales- marketing- and technology expertise to lead relationship- develop joint business plans and drive growth with e-Comm retail and AFH partners Define the short term and long term AFH Digital B2B Strategy- including launch of digital platform with the goal of extending reach and influence of AFH fragmented operator landscape
  • Define customer segmentation as well as marketing journeys to deploy through digital platforms to deliver growth in alignment with AFH strategies
  • Leverage B2B platform as lead generation tool for Sales team
  • Define strategy for digital tools (email- social media); deploy content in partnership with marketing teams
  • Define performance analytics strategy to track success and pivot as needed
  • Identify new- emerging areas of growth for AFH in the eCommerce & digital landscape
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to ensure AFH priorities are accelerated through eCommerce & Digital (e.g. driving branded market share)

Qualifications

Domain Expertise

  • 5 years of working experience in eCommerce and/orB2B digital marketing at large vendor or retailer- focused on sales- digital strategy and omnichannel growth tactics; Foodservice industry knowledge preferred
  • Strong understanding of the key tenets of eCommerce and digital merchandising

Experiences

  • Experience in leading and managing cross functional teams
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage a scaled business
  • Strong digital marketing skills- especially B2B experience
  • Strong financial acumen – understanding of profit and revenue drivers and analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree from a university or equivalent; MBA preferred
