About the role:

The ANZ International business channel is growing and to facilitate this we are looking for an account manager with a passion for exports. The role will see the Account Manager working with both  international and local customers. We export to over 60 countries across the following 4 regions: North America- Asia- The Middle East & Africa and The Pacific Islands. We take our own specialist export brands to key markets where we have a strong brand presence- in addition we market and distribute a wide range of brands and products from the from the local and global Kraft Heinz portfolio. 

Responsibilities:                                 

  • Identify opportunities in new markets and drive growth within existing customer base
  • Customer management (eg- customer visits- customer information requests- quotes- contract negotiations- forecasting- and order follow-up)
  • Opportunities within customer’s portfolio
  • A sound understanding and knowledge of internal business processes (eg- orders execution- trade spend- claims- forecasting- Budget Process- New Product Development process)
  • lead customer’s negotiations- meeting or exceeding monthly- annual Sales KPIs .
  • execute Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in volume- LSV- NSV and CMA for customer’s portfolio- these plans will reflect the business needs including corporate sales- marketing objectives- manufacturing efficiencies and maximum investment of resources
  • will lead and take appropriate actions to ensure efficiency on KraftHeinz processes related to Pricing- Trade Spend- Claims- Marketing Spend and Order Execution.

About you:

  • Relevant Tertiary Business qualification
  • Demonstrated account management and/or category management knowledge and experience
  • Proven ability to identify and grow key accounts
  • Ideally 3 to 5 years’ experience of working in an international sales role
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Negotiating and influencing skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Current working rights for NZ and AU
